Global feminists back Iranian feminists’ call for solidarity
February 4, 2026In a time of mourning, anger, and despair, in the face of brutal state repression, we continue—still and yet—to seek fragile flickers of hope along the ongoing path of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement.
In tribute to the Woman, Life, Freedom movement and the nationwide protests of the people of Iran—
for the right to self-determination,
for the right to one’s body,
for the right to social welfare,
for the right to citizenship,
for the right to freedom of expression,
an exhibition of artworks, documentation, and films related to the history of resistance within Iran’s women’s movement will be held at the Amsterdam Resistance Museum.
The artworks and content presented in this exhibition have been prepared with the collaboration of an advisory group that includes members of the Museum of the Iranian Women’s Movement.
Time: February 13 – August 13, 2026
Location: Amsterdam: Plantage Kerklaan 61/1018CX
